Strength and Explosiveness Full Body Workout

Hey guys hope you all had a great week and ready for the weekend! I’m going to be adding a workout challenge every Friday for you guys to do before you get your weekend started. You can find it here every week.

But before we start that weekend here’s your first Fit Friday Workout Challenge:

For today’s workout, this is going to help strengthen your core, build muscle also create speed and explosiveness! It’s okay to use weight that you are comfortable with.

Equipment You’ll Need:

  • Mat
  • Dumbbells or Kettlebell

 Workout Key:

  • Strength & ExplosivenessSingle Over Head Squat- Lock single arm over head with a dumbbell or kettlebell. Keep your arm straight over head while doing your squat. You are going to do 10 on one arm, then 10 on the other.
  • Hip Bridge with Chest Press- Laying flat down, you will hold a hip bridge while doing a chest press.
  • Straight Leg Hip Raise- Lay down flat with your legs straight up. Then you will drive your hips upward keeping your legs straight the whole time.
  • Squat Tuck Jump- Start in the lowest part of the squat, then explode upward while tucking your knees to your chest at the same time.
